What is Whipped Body Butter?
Whipped Body Butter is a great moisturizer for your skin. It’s usually made with a mixture of raw butters and oils that are blended together & whipped to achieve a light and fluffy texture. The light and fluffy texture allows the butter to spread easily and quickly absorb into the skin leaving you hydrated and GLOWING. What Ingredients do you use in your Whipped Body Butters?
Our Body Butters are made with 5 simple ingredients. Organic Raw Cocoa Butter, Natural Unrefined Shea Butter, Pure Grapeseed Oil, Natural Vitamin E Oil, and Fragrance.
How does Whipped Body Butter Differ from Lotion?
Lotions tend to have a thinner & more liquid-like consistency because they contain water.
Body butters are thicker and do not contain water.
Body Butters have a more intense hydration and keep the skin moisturized for longer
Body Butters are made with basic and raw ingredients.
How to Use Whipped Body Butter:
Use your fingers to scoop out a moderate amount of body butter. Apply body butter all over body including arms, legs, back, stomach, and feet. Let body butter absorb into skin for 2-3 minutes before putting on clothes.
It is best to use Whipped Body Butter immediately following a bath or shower to deeply penetrate your pores &/or use before bed as an overnight moisturizer.
Can I use Whipped Body Butter on my face?
We do not recommend using our whipped body butter on your face. We suggest using a facial oil or facial moisturizer.
How often should I use whipped body butter?
Dry Skin: Our Body Butter is formulated for dry skin, so if you have dry skin we recommend using daily.
Severely Dry Skin: For severely dry skin or problem areas - apply multiple times a day.
Normal Skin: If you have normal to moderately dry skin we recommend using every other day.
Oily Skin: Use Body Butter 1-2 times a week or on an as needed basis to add nourishment to skin.
Please note that our body butter helps repair skin so as your skin improves you can use less of it over time.
Where should I store my Whipped Body Butter?
Whipped Body Butters must be stored in cool dry places. Because body butters are made with a mix of butters and oils they can easily melt.
What do I do if my body butter melts?
No worries - it happens. If your body butter melts that means it’s too warm. Just stick it in a cool place and it will solidify again. Once solidified feel free to use like normal. Please note that melting will change the consistency. You can rewhip your body butter if you’d like but it’s not necessary.
What does fragrance free mean?
Fragrance free means that there are no fragrances added to the body butter formula. Body Butters may still have a light natural fragrance from the ingredients used.
